KeyMedia Solutions is looking for a Digital Media & Analytics Team Leader to guide the evolution of our Ad Operations team. In this role, you will manage and coach a team of Digital Specialists, oversee day-to-day delivery, and serve as the quality and accountability owner for paid media execution. You will also participate in the Leadership team, helping align priorities, capacity, and processes to company goals, supporting account health and retention, and operationalizing new service offerings as the business evolves.

You’ll bring deep hands-on knowledge of digital advertising platforms, paired with people-management experience, communication and organizational skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and ensuring work is done well and on time, while still staying close enough to the platforms to coach, review, and troubleshoot.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring our team operates efficiently, meets deadlines, maintains high quality standards, and continues to grow in skill and confidence.

What you’ll do:

Lead and Manage the Ad Operations Team:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the four-person Ad Ops team, ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and aligned with client goals.
  • Coach, mentor, and support Digital Specialists through regular feedback, performance check-ins, quarterly reviews, and clear expectations.
  • Hold team members accountable for deadlines, quality standards, and professional growth.
  • Coordinate onboarding and training for new team members.

Own Quality, Accountability and Delivery:

  • Serve as the final quality checkpoint for Ad Ops work, catching issues before they reach clients.
  • Assist with issue processing and monitor day-to-day workload distribution, task completion, and capacity to ensure sustainable team performance.
  • Identify risks, delays, or gaps early and proactively communicate with leadership.
  • Partner with Account Services to ensure smooth handoffs, clear communication, and aligned expectations.

Coach Technical Excellence:

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of paid media platforms (search, social, display, video, programmatic) to effectively review work and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide guidance and feedback on campaign structure, optimization strategies, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure the team follows established processes, standards, and best practices across platforms.

Improve Processes and Team Effectiveness:

  • Drive operational improvements that reduce rework, improve turnaround time, and increase delivery consistency across accounts.
  • Help refine and maintain SOPs, checklists, and quality standards.
  • Support leadership initiatives related to efficiency, training, and performance improvement.

Service Development & Scaling:

  • Lead development of new service offerings when identified (e.g., SmartSearch, SEO, Social Media Management), including workflow design, scope and deliverables, SOPs, and enablement.
  • Operationalize new services by piloting delivery, training teams, defining quality standards, and building repeatable processes that scale.
  • Continuously refine service delivery models to improve efficiency, performance, and client outcomes as goals shift.

Leadership & Operational Strategy

  • Serve as Ad Ops representation on the leadership team, contributing to quarterly and annual planning, company priorities, and execution strategy.
  • Translate business goals into operational plans (capacity, staffing, workflows, timelines) and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
  •  Proactively identify delivery, resourcing, and platform risks that could impact revenue, client retention, or reputation—bringing solutions, not surprises.
  • Partner with leadership and Account Services on at-risk accounts, creating recovery plans and ensuring high-confidence delivery.

What it takes to succeed:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, with hands-on experience across paid search, paid social, and programmatic platforms.
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching, feedback, and accountability.
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics platforms; programmatic experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to review and assess campaign work at a high level of detail without personally executing every task.
  • Excellent communication skills—comfortable having direct, timely conversations with team members and leadership.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and team needs.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Adaptability and curiosity in a fast-changing digital landscape.
