Diving in, Google recently announced an update to their Google Plus/Places/Maps/Reviews/what-have-you for businesses that they are call “Google My Business.” Now, everything is housed within one area, which is a fantastic plus. The new update allows managing your business’s identity on Google much more efficient and less of a headache. Here, at KeyMedia, we wanted to highlight some of the new features and why this is good news for you.
By going to the new Google My Business landing page (www.google.com/business), you’ll be able to control your Google Search, Plus, Places, and Review pages from one dashboard. This is a nice upgrade from having to go to each site to manage your information. Bringing your Google Plus page to life, you’ll be able to find and connect directly to with customers. You’ll be able to provide your customers with timely, informative information about your business, whether on the go or at home. On top of this, you’re able to see insights of how people are finding your business and how they are interacting with your content. More and more, people want to be able to gain access to pertinent information when and where they choose. Google My Business allows you to be there when you’re most needed.
